Edinburgh, Scotland

We were in Edinburg, Scotland today and it did not rain! I went to Edinburg, Scotland but I never saw Edinburgh.  Sounds crazy, but we went right from the docks out to the countryside.

We both had excursions to castles.  Michael’s excursion took him right into Edinburg  proper where he went to the Edinburg Castle, and the Holyrood Castle that is still a working castle that recently hosted Prince Harry and his wife.

I went to Stirling Castle in the medieval town of Stirling and to the William Wallace monument, you know the Braveheart guy.  Nothing too exciting, although the William Wallace monument was beautiful. I did not walk up the 246 steps to the top of the tower
